Ageing Wine With Ultrasound

Good wine, before you grow old
Ever wondered why they say that liquor gets better with age? According to British inventor Casey Jones, it's because the alcohol molecules bump against each other over time. Which is why he decided to cook up his $600 (Rs 29,000) miracle device, that can apparently simulate years of ageing and turn even the most awful swill into decadent vintage wine.
The device uses ultrasound waves to cause alcohol molecules to knock against one another, which apparently makes it age years in as little as half an hour. Jones claims that even the most awful home-brewed whisky could come out as a fine, 8-year old malt.
Jones isn't your desperate-to-make-it-big inventor--he's also invented a shoe-odor eliminator, for which he's got an investment of well over " 100,000 (Rs 8,000,000). We're reserving our verdict on this one till we taste the product. Repeatedly.
