WinDirStat (System Tools)

May 25, 2008 1247 hrs IST

Have you ever found yourself wondering where all your freespace went? Over time, somehow you were left with just a few hundred megabytes on your 250GB drive.

WinDirStat is a free open source program that visually represents all the files in the folder or even drive you choose. Large files appear as larger blocks and so on. It becomes easy to "see" where your free space went. An invaluable tool for those of us who would be forced to buy a new drive just because of too much clutter on the old one.
